Location: IOTA Training Center @ Bluegrass Quarry
All participants shall receive a Handgun Permit Training Certificate of Completion and Qualification Score Sheet issued by the MDSP Certified Qualified Handgun Instructor. The submission of the Handgun Permit Training Certificate shall constitute verification that the applicant satisfactorily completed a Handgun Permit Training Course.
Onsite Application Facilitation Services are available at $110/applicant and includes Livescan Fingerprinting, (2) Passport Quality Photos, and Application Assistance.
Walk-in service for HQL "Training Exempt" applicants is available between the hours of 9:00AM-12 Noon. Call us for details.

MDSP Firearm Safety Training Course - Handgun Qualification License (HQL)

Course fee includes: instruction, materials, range fee, 22 caliber pistols, ammunition, paper targets, safety equipment, certificate of completion, onsite Livescan fingerprinting, and online MSP HQL application assistance.
The $50 MDSP HQL Permit Fee is not included in the course or service fee. Payment is due to the Maryland State Police via their website using Visa/MC, within 30-days of the Livescan fingerprinting expiration date.
HQL facilitation services will be available for "Training Exempt" applicants between the hours of 10AM-12 Noon. Facilitation service Fee: $85
